On #LunchBreakLIVE today, Beyond Meat burgers topped with Follow Your Heart vegan cheese served up in a country kitchen in the heart of Texas at Rowdy Girl Sanctuary! With #TexasVeganTour sponsor Local Harvest Salsa!



1 pkg Beyond Meat Burgers (4 burgers per pkg) defrosted
1 pkg  Follow Your Heart (choose from American slices, Pepper Jack slices and Provolone slices)
1 -2 large organic tomatoes, sliced
4 large lettuce leaves, washed and dried
1 Tbsp organic canola oil (for pan)
1 Tbsp vegan butter (to grill buns)
1 Tbsp Hellmann’s mayo or Follow Your Heart Vegenaise
1 jar Local Harvest Salsa – Texas Candy (jalapeños, pineapple)

  1. Place the oil into a hot pan and add the burgers, pan frying on both sides until done.
  2. Once the burger is flipped over, place the cheese on the burger allowing it to melt while the other side cooks
  3. Place the vegan butter on a grill and place the buns face down until toasted
  4. Slice the tomatoes
  5. Spread the mayo on the buns, add burger and top with lettuce, tomato and Texas Candy salsa
  6. salt and pepper to taste
  7. Enjoy
