Raw Vegan Sunflower Seed Pie Crust
Make this tasty raw pie crust that requires no cooking and it totally delicious!
- 2 1/2 cups sunflower seeds
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup dates compacted full cup, no air holes
In a food processor with an S-blade blend all the ingredients for 5-6 minutes, until the crust is smooth and a bit oily and easy to bind together.
Roll the crust into equal size compacted balls. Place a ball of crust in the middle of a pie spring pan and press from the center until the crust unfolds to the edge.
Flatten and smooth crust and even out edges with hand. The goal is to have a nice tight binding even level crust.
