Use this Sofrito recipe to add some Puerto Rican flavor to your dish. It's simple and delicious.
- 2 medium green bell peppers seeds removed
- 2 medium onions peeled
- 1 head of garlic peeled
- 1 bunch of cilantro
- 2 TB Annato seeds Achiote infused in 1/2 cup of veggie broth
Put all the ingredients in a blender, and puree until smooth. Add more water or vegetable broth as needed.
Store in a mason jar or ice cube tray, so you can use it anytime to flavor dishes.
