Banana Fosters

  • 1/3 C vegan butter
  • 3/4 C brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 T water
  • 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 bananas cut up
  • 1/3 C walnuts if desired
  • Vegan vanilla ice cream if desired
  • Vegan chocolate topping if desired


  • -In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in sugar, vanilla, water and cinnamon. When mixture begins to bubble, place bananas (and walnuts if desired) in pan. Cook until bananas are hot (1 or 2 minutes). Served over ice cream or wrapped in crepe.
