Let’s Learn More About Our Two Guest Chefs
Merissa Underwood is a vegan of six years who recently represented Montana at the Miss USA 2020 pageant. She works tirelessly to promote veganism and sustainability not only to the people of Montana but to the world. You may have seen her face on a change.org petition as she received a massive amount of backlash for her stance against animal agriculture, which only added fuel to her fire. When she is not fighting for animal rights and taking on the Montana cattle industry, you can find Merissa DJing, writing poetry, or out getting lost in the wilderness.
Sgt. Vegan (aka Bill Muir) is a classic Renaissance man. … He knows firsthand what it’s like to maintain a plant-based diet under the most grueling circumstances (Army boot camp, Ranger training, deployment to Afghanistan!) and not only survive but also thrive, vegan strong.
