Melanie Bazzell is an artist and animal activist. She rescues and rehabilitates chickens through her micro-sanctuary Om Tweet Om.
She continues educating the public about chickens and other animals as Co-Founder of her non-profit Kind Heart Coalition and she is also the organizer for the San Diego Animal Save.
Melanie is dedicated to helping animals and doing what she can to change the hearts and minds of people so that they may look at animals as equal, sentient beings.
Pretty great human huh?! I’d say so. Talented, artistic, compassionate, and always ready to help the animals. AND, she’s not bad in the kitchen. Let’s check out what she created for us today.

The ingredients for this watermelon soup.
