Katie transitioned to veganism 4 years ago trying to lower her cholesterol. Even though she was an ovo/lacto vegetarian her cholesterol was still very high due to her genetic makeup. After transitioning to veganism her cholesterol dropped drastically. If you’re wondering why it’s because there is no cholesterol in plants! actually met her at a recent pig vigil! We are so glad to have amazing vegans like Katie out there making compassion look cool!

Katie gives a phenomenally suspenseful breakout performance in the movie Annabelle! Today, she is making us a deliciously spooky ghost pizza. Katie pre-cuts the pizza crusts into cute Casper the friendly ghost-like shapes then she makes her scrumptious vegan cheese using a blender to mix the concoction and a saucepan to make it the perfect cheesy consistency. Then, Katie spreads the sauce on the crust, adds her special cheese creation, and sautés the sausage. After the sausage is cooked, she slices it and puts it on top of the pizza. Voila! The pizza is ready to be devoured! Jane slides in for the taste test and says it is absolutely delicious with an emphasis on how good Katie’s vegan cheese is! 1 Tbs. Nutritional Yeast
1 tsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder
