This protein-packed recipe is super easy and soooo delicious! Another alternative to this skewers recipe would be to cut the tofu into squares and put cut vegetables (cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, green bell peppers, onions) on the skewers, put on the barbecue and you’ve got delicious shish kabobs! This recipe is quick and easy to make and is sure to be a favorite at any gathering. No cholesterol, no saturated fat, no cruelty, just healthy vegan goodness! All the ingredients used for these super easy and super tasty Tofu Satay Skewers!



Spicy Peanut Tofu Satay Skewers


– 1 block extra firm Tofu

– 1/4 cup soy sauce
– 1/4 cup maple syrup
– 1/3 cup peanut butter
– 1 tsp Sriracha
– 1 tsp chopped garlic
Chopped peanuts
Chopped green onions
White Sesame Seeds
Whisk ingredients in a bowl
– Cut the block of Tofu into 6 strips
– Baste sauce onto strips
– Put skewers through the strips
– Grill on a barbecue, cooking each side thoroughly (for firmer and crunchier skewers, put in the oven on broil for 15 minutes right before serving) If cooking on a stovetop, pour Avocado Oil into skillet and cook each side for 5-7 minutes over medium heat!
– Put on a bed of brown rice and place skewers on top
– Top with sesame seeds, chopped peanuts, and chopped green onions
