#LunchBreakLIVE at the amazing Ocado Restaurant, Beer & Wine Garden in Sherman Oaks, California with the stupendously fabulous actress Gianna Simone of Unbroken: Path to Redemption, which is coming out on DVD and is already streaming on Amazon Prime and Netflix! Gianna, a vegan and animal lover, is also working on a series featuring plant-based doctors! Check out the ladies as they try this mind-blowingly delicious food!
Gianna is an activist as well as a talented actress, dancer, gymnast and aerialist. Paige Parsons Roache actually met Gianna at a pig vigil near Downtown Los Angeles. Gianna really lives her purpose to help animals. She is in a new movie coming out to DVD, called Unbroken: Path to Redemption. It is a highly recommended period drama with a heart-warming story. She is also in a movie called Run the Race, which will be coming out in February. Gianna started an online series where she interviews prominent plant-based doctors called, “Love, Gianna.” Gianna explains, the doctors that she has interviewed like Dr. Neal Bernard, Dr. T. Colin Campbell, and Dr. Michael Greger, are changing the world by teaching people how to live healthier lives with dietary changes. Heart disease is the number one killer of people in America and it is caused by poor dietary choices. It can be prevented and combatted by eating a healthier diet. We applaud Gianna for using her platform and celebrity influence to help others, save animals, and the planet!
Jane says that the food here is so good people fight over it! Today the ladies are trying an oil-free salad, potato tacos, buffalo crispy cauliflower, and muhammara (spicy pepper dip). You can wash all this amazing food down with cocktail or in today’s case beautiful mocktails if you are avoiding alcohol. The taste testing ladies gave the food several thumbs up. If it tastes as good as it looks, we would fight to get some too!
Erin Monsour, the owner of Ocado, decided to open this restaurant to give people who don’t eat animal products more options. Erin has been vegetarian for ten years and she has been eating a vegan diet since she opened the restaurant about four months ago! She noticed that when she went to most restaurants her only options were to eat a house salad and a side of fries. She decided to do something about it, so she opened her own restaurant with only plant-based options. You definitely won’t feel limited by the variety at Ocado! Come by this must try restaurant next time you’re in the Sherman Oaks area. Bring your pre-vegan friends and family and watch them leave in considering veganism after having a vegan meal this spectacular!
