Spicy Buffalo Hot Wings Vegan Style

Spicy Buffalo Hot Wings Vegan Style

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS – for steaming tempeh

  1. Add 1 T peanut oil to sauté pan
  2. Place tempeh into pan with a steamer basket and enough boiling water to just reach the tempeh
  3. Steam for 10 minutes

DIRECTIONS – for sautéing tempeh

  1. Place 2 T peanut oil to coat the bottom of a sauté pan.
  2. Place the steamed tempeh in a single layer in the pan and cover with Frank’s Wing Sauce
  3. Gently turn each strip over and cover with more sauce
  4. Sauté for 2 minutes on medium heat, checking frequently to prevent sticking
  5. Add add additional oil and vegan wing sauce as needed
  6. Flip and sauté until both sides are slightly golden brown

SERVING SUGGESTION

  1. Place lettuce leaves on a plate
  2. Place tempeh on lettuce leaves
  3. Drizzle more Frank’s Wing Sauce over the tempeh with some Follow Your Heart Vegan Ranch dressing on the side
  4. Garnish with celery
