"Being a Bystander to Suffering Is Not an Option"– Jim Greenbaum

The Vampire Diaries stars Persia White and her husband Joseph Morgan, also of The Originals, introduce vegan philanthropist Jim Greenbaum of the The Greenbaum Foundation, and present him with the Mercy for Animal’s International Humanitarian Award!! #JaneUnChained 
Jim Greenbaum at MFA SpeechJim left the corporate world at age 40, and sold his company with the goal of contributing 85% of his assets to charitable projects ending suffering (human and non-human) during his lifetime, and the remainder of his estate soon thereafter.
Jim follows the concept of Effective Altruistism, a growing social movement founded on the desire of making the world a better place, using of evidence and reason to find out how to do so, and the audacity to actually try.  The primary focus is on:  Saving Lives; Ending Suffering; and Saving the Planet.
Jim is an Executive Producer of the documentaries Not My Life, Cowspiracy and What The Health.  Jim is a longtime member of YPO/WPO and also a regular attendee at Skoll World Forum, the Women Moving Millions Summit, Nexus Global Youth Summit, and the Animal Rights National Conference.
