RECIPE:  Tasty, Tantalizing Tostadas from Vegan Monk and Tammy Whitmore Coleman

INGREDIENTS

  • Guerrero pre-cooked tortilla (tostada)
  • 1 can Amy’s Refried Beans with Jalapeños, heated
  • 1/2 c shredded lettuce
  • 2 T plant-based meat alternative
  • 2 T guacamole
  • 2 T black olives, pitted and sliced
  • garnish with chopped cilantro
  • Secret Sauce (see below) or hot sauce

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat up Amy’s refried beans
  2. Spread beans over tortilla
  3. Add shredded lettuce
  4. Add a plant-based meat alternative
  5. Add guacamole
  6. Top with sliced black (pitted) olives
  7. Garnish with cilantro
  8. Sprinkle on some hot sauce of your choice
